It's funny that you say our views on love, marriage and sex have changed. It is indeed true, but it seems to me that you treat love as if there were a universal and 'natural' kind of love that should be released from the shackles of ego-centrism. You're talking about the most recent kind of love, the one that has been promoted in most forms of art and in the media as well. And no, I'm not talking about silly lovey-dovey romance, I'm talking about this idea of two people having a monogamous relationship where they share their life together and are equal in each other's eyes. The kind of love that is actually a construct. I think this is a pretty convincing and well-documented short article on love as a construct: http://www.quora.com/Is-love-a-social-construct/answer/Bob-HookerAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09649869517480118949noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8417961221792880115.post-68687589245552251682014-04-12T13:17:54.848-11:002014-04-12T13:17:54.848-11:00How true, often we confuse the two concepts of sol...How true, often we confuse the two concepts of solitude and loneliness...BarbVielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14423389347046739734noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8417961221792880115.post-58966927225125808052014-04-12T13:15:24.390-11:002014-04-12T13:15:24.390-11:00Wonderful post with lots of food for thought, Nich...Wonderful post with lots of food for thought, Nicholas...Penthesilea77https://www.blogger.com/profile/17794263567833606018noreply@blogger.com
