COMPUTER WOES...

"For a list of all the ways technology has failed to improve the quality of life, please press three." - Alice Kahn

The keyboard card of my computer decided to die today. Without it the computer won;t function so I am not using my own computer to write this, which of necessity will be a very short blog.
We are experiencing a heat wave at the moment, with temperatures hovering in the mid 30s. The garden is taking a beating and the poor roses in full bloom are getting roasted.
Hope my computer will be fixed tomorrow...

  1. Sorry for your computer problem!
We're experiencing warmer than usual weather here, on this autumn day in Ohio(70*F).

  2. I'm having problems with my home computer - it won't come on!!!

Your temperature is our every day temperature - so every day, even though it's supposedly the rainy season, we have an almighty heat wave. it is hot - very hot!

  3. Sorry to hear about your computer problems...mine has been making grumbling noises for some time, though each time I think it's going to completely crash, it somehow jumps back into life again.

..shame about the roses...but roses have to withstand all sorts of weather and can be surprisingly tough..they even come equipped with their own protective thorns.

Even when they do take a beating, they often just re-grow and bloom again.

  4. Computer fixed! It helps having a computer store right across from where I work and having the computer still on warranty!
