MOZART ON SATURDAY NIGHT...

And in this case, it is Vladimir Davidovich Ashkenazy, playing the adagio from the Piano Concerto No.23 in A major K 488 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart…

  1. This is a particularly lovely and emotional recording of one of my favorites. The constant changing between major and minor keys adds some sweetness to the melancholy for me. Just beautiful.
